These pages are just the beginning of things to come. With the help of submissions from Blake Cathey, Christine Cathey Torkelson, Harry Robertson, and Geral Cathey, these pages were compiled by Gordon Gene Cathey. The compiler's aging memory and less-than-top-notch research techniques combine to almost assure that there are errors and important omissions. Everyone visiting these pages should feel free to contribute any form of addition or correction. It would be a big help if everyone would take the time to dig through closets and attics in search of any old papers which may shed light on Earl and Gerty's families. Letters from aunts and cousins, birth certificates, death certificates, land deeds, bank notes, newspaper clippings (especially obituaries), photographs, Bibles, love letters, school report cards, etc. Names, dates and places are the main factual items needed, but also it is important to have access to papers which help illustrate one's individuality and way of life.
